YG Hootie在歌曲中唱出了加州康普顿（Compton）为他付出的爱，以及他在那里遇到的那个女人。
“Lil mama，she bad，I’m gon’ spin/ I’ma take her straight to the pad，we goin’in/ I’ma let you see the hood，I’ma let you see the rooftop，” he raps over the synth-laden track。”Let you see the trap，I’ma let you see the new spot/ I’m the man in my city。”
喇嘛也歌颂了这个为他无私奉献，且希望见到他大放异彩的城市，“My city never want for nothin’/ My city love it when I’m hustlin’/ I flip the merchandise and rotate (I flip the merchandise)/ I’ve been a mogul and I’m heavy (I am an enterprise）”
单曲封面是幼年的乔治·W·布什，Hoodie此举是为了提醒人们即使康普顿有很多负面的新闻，但这也是一片蕴育了一位前总统的土地：
“关于康普顿的新闻太多都不太正面，也因此造成了人们对它的偏见，但大多数人不知道乔治·布什和他的家人曾经居住于此，他们可以忽视真相，但你得承认这个城市值得我们喝彩。”
